Febo Lace Up Boot for Men in Dark Brown Leather

A lace-up boot in vegetable-tanned leather with a tailored fastening, hand-dyed a deep brown. In place of metal eyelets, six loops cut from the leather itself: the lacing runs inside the profile and disappears from the side, so that nothing breaks the line of the boot.
On this shade the construction reads more clearly than the colour. The cap toe, where the lasting pulls tighter, stays close and luminous; the shaft, worked softer, takes natural creases from the first few wearings. It is the same hide: what changes is the tension the boot holds it under, and that is precisely what makes a tailored construction recognisable.
A metal side zip lets you put the boot on and take it off without undoing the laces, which stay tied exactly as you set them.
The construction is Blake rapid: an exposed leather midsole with contrast stitching, on a lugged rubber outsole. The lining is natural leather. Vegetable tanning deepens the colour with wear, toward the vintage character these boots are made for.
