Bacco Chukka Boot for Men in Black Leather

A chukka boot in vegetable-tanned leather, hand-dyed black. Three pairs of eyelets, a plain toe, no decorative stitching: in black the pared-back line becomes an unbroken profile, and the boot reads as a volume rather than a set of parts.
The dye is applied by hand here too, and it shows: not as a shift in colour but as a shift in depth. Some areas take the light in, others give it back, and the surface never sits flat the way machine-dyed leather does.
Underfoot, the black Wearlight sole: made in Italy and known for its exceptional lightness. It cushions the step and flexes with the foot: you can walk on it all day and barely notice it. This is the variant that goes most easily with formal trousers.
The lining is natural leather, and the contrast against the black upper shows each time the boot goes on. The insole carries the Leonardo mark.
