Velvet reinterprets the western ankle boot in black, compact and pared back. The vegetable-tanned leather is smooth, with a full surface and a single, even shade of black: the result is a sharper silhouette than in the other colours.
The cut follows the classic lines of the western boot: arched stitching traces the vamp, and the western heel is clad in stacked leather, a technique that follows the curve of the wood and protects its edge.
It goes on with a silver-tone metal back zip, with nothing to lace, while two leather side pull tabs help you slip it on. Tapered, slightly elongated toe.
The leather sole is finished with red contrast stitching along the edge and a rubber insert under the forefoot for better grip on pavement. Leather lining and insole.
A versatile boot made for everyday wear, as good with jeans as with a dress.
