Velvet Intreccio takes the same western silhouette and works the upper in hand woven leather: thin strips of vegetable tanned leather are woven one by one, building a dense, even texture across the boot. The heel counter stays in smooth leather, framing the shaft with structure. The cut follows classic Texan lines, with a western heel wrapped in leather strips that follow its curve and guard the edge. Closure is a back zip set to the side, and two leather pull tabs at the sides make it easier to step into. The toe comes to a slim, slightly elongated point. The sole is leather, with a rubber insert under the forefoot for extra grip. Lining and insole are both leather. A pair that brings weaving, usually reserved for loafers and bags, into the vocabulary of the western boot.
